Michael needs a great song to get back on top of things. I know a lot of fans want him to do a slow song, but I am having trouble thinking of any slow songs from that decade. Help me out, please!

One I can think of that is sort of slow that I think he could do really well is Every Rose has it's Thorn by Poison.

I like that song! I'm not really a big 80's music fan so I don't really know many songs from that decade. I really hated 80's week last year. Just kidding, I think it was the disco-week I hated last year. I hope Michael picks a good song!

he should do an INXS song, he would sound AMAZING.

or possibly U2. there was some great music during the 80's so hopefully he'll pick the right thing.

He should definitely sing an INXS song. His voice is perfect for those. He would really rock the house with something
like "Never Tear Us Apart", "Mystify", "What you Need", "The Stairs". Michael kind of reminds me to the new lead singer from INXS who won a reality show too: JD Fortune. He is amazing. Both have the same tone of voice.

Michael lost some momentum last week because of his weak performance, so he really needs to step it up this Tuesday. He needs to get into the Top 12 still as a contender. David Hernandez and David Cook really improved and peoplr are starting to notice. MIchael IMO is a million times better but he just wasn't on top form this week.
It's going to be really hard to beat David A though but I hope he goes far.

He has the potential to do it, so I hope he chooses a song from he 80's wisely. U2 would be great too but I don't think they clear the songs for the show.

I hope MJ goes back to those sexy powerful vocal performances that impressed everyone since his audition.

Hopefully there will be better songs to select this week. Choosing a great song out of 50 seems to be proving difficult for just about everyone.

I think he should pick something that will show off his vocal range, be it upbeat or slower. We know he is great, so he needs to stop playing it safe and coasting along (I agree with Simon on that one). If he can pull off Bohemian Rhapsody, he can sing just about anything from the 80s.

Apparently INXS did not clear their songs for the show. BUmmer.. Michael would have rock with one of their songs.

Anyways there is a rumor going on now that Michael will be performing The Police "Every Breath You Take" which I think will be perfect for him to have a moment. I am crossing my fingers...
