Dear Michael,

I can say that I truly am a music mom, and I guess it's appropriate, "she married a music man', my significant other is the head of production for Livenation southeast. I can guarantee that once you get in the studio and you probably have had an agent, and are signing some big record deal today....that I will have the pleasure of seeing you and probably meeting you. I have thought that American Idol has been a total teeny bopper show, and that is why Daughtry didn't win...shock...and some others that were not quite deserving did. Sorry to those I've offended. But you have what it takes, I would describe your style as almost Rob Thomas, and that is a fabulous complement, he is one of the sweetest and hardest working musicians that I have known. After learning that he had to live on the streets playing for change back here on the east coast, he and his band hold a special place in my heart. Anyone who lives for music knows that listening to a special song can make a bad day better, can bring tears to your eyes from the memory that the song holds in your mind and the best part is rolling down your windows and blasting one of your all time favorites and singing along. I want to wish you and your family the best, we are getting ready for an amazing summer with Livenation, Keith Urban starts the summer season out next weekend here in Raleigh. And Daughtrys playing, Pearl Jam, tons of fun stuff. So, when you come to Raleigh and play, you will be introduced to my boyfriend Rob Manley and he will make sure your 18 wheelers are unloaded and your on your X at the exact moment planned, he will be running your show... when you make it to Raleigh me and my two kids, one girl, one boy 5 and 8 will be there with bells on ...you truly got a raw deal, but I think in the long run your better off, Daughtry is bigger than any of the Idols. And you made an impression enough for me to take the time out of my single mommy schedule that is truly a major effort these days. Best of luck to you and your family and thanks for bringing your wonderful music to the US. Fondly, Kelley Crenshaw If you ever need anything that would be in the concert production area, we will still be in Raleigh..you have my email, and when you get introduced to Rob when you tour you will love him, probably not a great idea to give his name out to the public, but he will be waiting. . PS Rob has worked with everyone from David Gilmore to Harry Connick, and I taped your Dolly Parton song for him, he said the same thing I did....next Rob Thomas, so speaking from a 48 year old ex Metallica crew 20 years ago...and Hootie manager...you did good. Be safe and don't let Hollywood change you, my favorite band is still Red Hot Chili Peppers...I was a surfer girl...liked their hard core old stuff but love their their new stuff. They saw what Hollywood could do first hand and now they are much more grounded, and please don't get what all the production people call LSD, Lead singers disease. Anyway, I have written enough to reinforce what you have been told by millions of people. Hope you actually get to read these. Again. Thanks.
