First let me start by saying as excited as I am to be seeing Michael making the rounds on the press circuit, it's going to be bittersweet as I didn't expect to see him doing press so early in the competition.

But in light of Michael's departure from American Idol, our favourite Idol will be making the rounds on the various TV shows. I read that he will be appearing so far on the following shows:

Jay Leno - Friday, April 11
Ellen Degeneres - April 14
Regis & Kelly - April 14

If there are any other shows that I've missed, please add them here or if I've perhaps placed this thread in the wrong section, please forgive me (I'm distraught and upset and by the way, am the new kid - I did a search on the forum and apparently the search feature doesn't work).

I know Michael will make it big - I believe in karma and when something that great slips away it will always find it's way back. As long as we love him and support him he will definately get an album deal, no doubt!

I Completely agree wth you. Im so shocked by his elimination !!!! He was so much fun to watch And his Vocals were far superior then 99% of the other contestants. Other then David cook we was by far the whole package. On regis and Kelly this morning Kelly was expressing her disbelief saying he was a modern day Jim Morrison.
But sometimes the most talented people just don't win . He's so charsimatic and talanted I know he will go far!!!!!!!!
SO now all my votes are going to David Cook and Carly. Michael Johns truly was my favorite contestant ever on any American idol.

[PS] I just saw him on Jay Leno. It wasn't a full interview, they just had him come out in the beginning, & then Gene Simmons came out. It was pretty humorous though.

I hope this is all on youtube-I have tons of stuff going on the 14th-bummer!!!!

He did indeed sing on Access and I think for a moment I melted - it was beautiful! And he was not at all on The Today Show. I watched the whole four hours and saw nothing. Did you see Regis & Kelly? It was really cute. He mentioned how he was at the SNL afterparty and sang on stage with Ashton Kutcher! Awesome eh? He can only up from here now! I'm so excited for him!!

By the way, can someone post up the Mike and Juliet Show when they get it? I live in Canada so I've never seen it or heard of it for that fact.

I did catch all this on various sites-ACCESS would have been better w/OUT David Foster,
but, he's a big name so MJ probably will work w/him.......YES, I saw R&K-it was great-
what a story about SNL!!! of course, he was a doll, so comfortable on camera-
