I have been watching all of Michaels performances and I have to say that every one of them was outstanding.It would be very difficult to pick a favorite.Something else I have been noticing is that he has a very distinct voice,one that I would be able to say hey that's Michael Johns ! IMO,this is so important for survival in the music business,you definitely don't want to sound like everyone else! He definitely has charisma on stage and a powerful voice,I would buy his music in a second. Though I love most music,I'm selective in what I would buy ! Well my question for all of you is which of Michael's performances are your favorites and why ? I honestly can't pick one LOL !

Definitely his most recent performance..."We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions" I really loved it and it was so awesome to see that the judges liked it as well.

Across The Universe....no question about it.

I liked this week's as well...especially the lighting and camera treatment he got. But no doubt ATU is my fav.

I love all of them but i think my favorite is We are the champions/we will rock you and then either a day in the life or across the universe but even the top 24 rounds were really good

"It's All Wrong But It's All Right"

i totally agree he is an amazing performer, i could love every single song which he sings...

however, maybe i can choose "light my fire" and "across the universe" just based on the songs.

I loved the Queen melody of "We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions", definitely, because his voice suits that.

But I loved EVERY performance he did, hands down. There wasn't any of them where I said "I didn't like it", to me he was consistent, whether or not the judges thought so .

I loved all of his performances especially when he does Queen. I wish he could've done Bohemian Rhapsody like he did in Hollywood, but my absolute favorite that I listen to over and over is It's all wrong but it's all right. My husband thought it was boring but I loved it. His voice, his performance, everything. I think he should stick to like a bluesy rock. That's him. I loved when Dolly said she could write songs for him. I agree. He would be a superstar if Dolly wrote his songs. Well, he will be a star regardless. Can't wait to see him on tour and for him to make an album. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

"It's All Wrong, But It's All Right" is my favourite performance EVER on American Idol. I also really enjoy "Across The Universe," which is my favourite Beatles song.

Well, I definitely adore his two consecutive performances... "We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions Medley" and "It's All Wrong But It's All Right". He sounded great, he looked so cool, and he was super confident... Oh! And don't forget the "Bohemian Rhapsody" performance he sang in Hollywood week!

It's so great being nostalgic of Michael... Even though he's gone, it's still good (better yet, great!) that he had stellar performances; unlike some contestants whodidn't even shine yet left...

"We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions" and "Dream on " and " A Day in the life" are the songs that are playing twenty four seven on my ipod and my favs that he sang on Idol. Although I adoe every single song that he sang those three are my top favs!

When I started this thread I said I couldn't pick a favorite,now after viewing all of Michael's performances at least a dozen times each,I have to say " It's All Wrong But It's All Right ' is the one that does it for me. It's vocally superb,the perfect fit for his voice.

I loved Dolly Parton week when he did "It's All Wrong, But It's All Right" that was my favourite of all time. I sat there in amazement and I was like "sing out kid just sing it out!"
