Jason Yeager had lots of nice things to say about Mike (who was his roommate in Hollywood Week) during his exit interview according to the Charlotte Observer: (the bolding is mine )

"On Michael Johns, his Idol roommate:

We became really, really good friends. We were roommates from Hollywood Week, day one. They kind of set everybody up randomly and we were lucky enough that we didn't have to switch rooms or anything. Every time somebody got eliminated through Hollywood Week, you'd have to consolidate rooms and everybody kept switching around. We were lucky that we just got to stay in that same room and really get to know each other. Our personalities just really clicked. He's like the funniest guy that I've met. He has a great personality. I just was blessed to get to know him. He is a dedicated songwriter and musician and especially a singer. We just really encouraged each other. We always helped each other out with our song choices, giving each other advice and criticism. Gosh, I'm really gong to miss that guy a lot and I hope that he does really well. "

It's nice to hear that he is thought so highly of. After rewatching some of the idol videos his personality does shine through when he talks to Ryan,he seems so down to earth and very likable !Thanks for brining this over Dusty !

Aww... so sweet!!!

I only liked 1 of the 2 songs Jason got to sing on the show...but I really liked his personality. It's interesting to read how well he and Michael got along. Thanks for sharing that!

aww, this was sweet. I wasn't a fan of Jason's either....his voice just did nothing for me. And well...Michael was there so that was it for me. But it's awesome what he said about him, it's nice to hear others who have actually met him talk about him like that.
